9/8/09: A tentative plan is to offer a distance version of MSE 205 in Winter Qtr. 2010. The purpose is to give students and professionals who are not on the OSU main campus the opportunity to learn the introductory principles in materials science and engineering. The links to the left provide an overview of the basic features for the most recent (Summer 09) offering of the course. An introductory video is also available by clicking on one of the following links:

This is a full size format using a web browser.
If the movie skips or distorts initially, then
- press the stop button on the lower left corner of the movie image,
- drag the movie cursor to the beginning of the movie,
- press the play button.
The skipping/distortion should be reduced or eliminated.
